The term Cognitrix stems from the fusion of "cognition" and "matrix," representing a system or entity capable of processing information, learning, and generating new structures in an intelligent and autonomous way.
The project explores the process of learning and cognitive development of an artificial intelligence (AI) through play and interaction with physical objects.
The projected scene is marked by abstract images, without specific rules, where the shapes appear chaotic and random, much like the scribbles of a child.
This moment of visual exploration symbolizes a phase in which the AI is trying to organize the information it receives but has not yet developed the ability to impose logical order on the data.
The project culminates in a final phase, in which AI reaches an advanced level of cognition. AI no longer merely imitates reality, but reinvents it.
The project thus becomes an exploration of creativity, exploring how a machine can evolve from simple play to the creation of artistic and complex structures.
