The videomapping project seeks to reinterpret the role of decoration in architecture, with particular attention to its historical use as a form of mass communication. In the past, architecture conveyed messages through sculptures, bas-reliefs and high-reliefs, creating a strong emotional and symbolic bond with society.
This project aims to recover that classic way of visual storytelling, in opposition to thecontemporary rationalist model that over time has reduced buildings to purely functionalstructures devoid of figurative and narrative elements.
Through video mapping, architectural surfaces will be transformed into living sculptures, reactivating their communicative potential and exploring one of the most central themes of our time: the concept of connection in the technological world.
Bringing narrative and symbolic elements back into the architectural space, the project reclaims the historical role of architecture as a collective narrator. The project aims to give new life to decorative art, restoring its narrative function and reaffirming its place as a vibrantand dynamic instrument.
